Cedar has a firm structure and a richly textured grain to retain natural oils. The oils act as a preservative, and help the wood resist insect damage and decay, making it suitable for high moisture areas. i really loved this product but it is really expensive for what you get. ive been searching around and this by far is the most attractive and sturdy of all. i recomend this for beach houses and all patios. my kids and family love this and fight who gets to go on it!overall this is a really great product for you and your kids on a nice spring fall summer and even winter day for relaxsation LOVE IT!

This is not worth the asking price, i would pay [$] for it not over a thousand what they are asking for it, [...], it says easy assembly, take my word for it, its not easy, horrible directions, it took me 50 hours to put together, next iv'e had it only three months, and parts of the glider is getting mold on it, its not rot resisting wood like they tell you, dopn't pay what they are asking for it, it's not worth it.

I put it on a patio and swing to my heart's content. I read on it, eat on it, entertain on it, and love the fact that it's fairly light, making it easy to move. I live at the shore, so tho the winters aren't hard, the salt air is. I store the seats and table and cover the rest. It will prpbably outlive me. If using a preservative, check before you apply - some peel and yellow.
