With a warm Amaretto finish, the Tessa Electric Fireplace is a gorgeous addition to any room and its realistic flame technology is ambiance enhancing. Equipped with a thermostat-controlled heater, this fireplace lets you choose just the right temperature and it heats an area of up to 400 square feet. You can also switch the unit on and off using the included remote control. Simply plug in the pre- assembled Tessa Electric Fireplace, sit back, and enjoy the cozy comfort of a no-maintenance fireplace.
This electric fireplace is also a practical and efficient heating option, costing 2 cents per hour to run with the flame only, or 7 cents per hour to run with the flame and heat. You'll also have peace of mind knowing that this fireplace features glass that stays cool to the touch for safety. All of that and it's a green choice too with no carbon monoxide or emissions.

Use for large bedroom supplement heat. I have three other Dimplex and I love them, this one doesn't send out as much heat , doesn't shut off when room reaches a certain temperature just keeps on running which will cost too much money. Ad read mahogany and it came as ameretto, flame is nothing like my other three, and wood burning doesn't have the nice red hot ember look when it is lit like my other ones. Flame is very sparse on color when it's on.
