An American classic, this quality wood rocking chair provides ergonomic comfort with its extra-deep back curve, oversized armrests, and contoured seat. It's not only comfortable but durable, too. The catalyzed varnish withstands the elements, while tight-fitting mortise-and-tenon joints provide strength and stability. Made in the USA from durable ash wood, this rocker is available in four colors: black, medium oak, walnut, and white. This chair ships fully assembled, except for the runners, which are easily screwed into place.

We purchased 2 rocking chairs. One arrived with 2 rungs on the seat unattached. Most likely damaged during shipping. Too big of an item to return so we tried to fix it on our own. Hopefully, it will work. The quality of the wood seems very good. Nice looking rocker and wide.

So glad it came nearly assembled. Made everything so easy. EXCEPT: The rails on 1 of the 2 chairs had the pre-drilled holes off target by a half inch. It took me 30 minutes and some tools to fix it.

For the price and description/specs I expected more. [...] I ordered two of these rockers for my front porch. One would think assembly would be easy enough since these chairs come nearly fully assembled. You only have to install the rocking runners. The first chair went together fairly easily. The second one took me a half hour before I gave up. The runners did not match the chair legs and I could not even get them to fit onto the chair. I should have been more suspicious when I noticed upon unpacking that the runners were not tied down to the chair like the first rocker was and the glue that is included was nearly empty.It appeared to me that someone else had attempted to assemble this same chair and gave up and returned it, and then it was shipped to me. [...] The new one showed up and I had the same problem. Not only did the runners not fit properly (again), the seat was missing a screw and was loose from the frame (I am guessing someone else removed it to try to get the runners installed). The paint was also very spotty in some areas. When faced with returning it again, as well as the first one out of frustration, I decided to put my handyman skills to work. I got a spare wood screw and attached the seat properly. I then had to shave off two of the leg tenons with a blade to get them to fit into the runner mortises.At [$] each, I expected a better experience and product.

We purchased 20 of these rockers to replace the rockers we had in the Knoxville Convention Center. These rockers are beautiful and very sturdy. They are located indoors, along our park terrace overlooking World's Fair Park in Knoxville, TN. They are enjoyed by our patrons who travel here from all over the world who have an opportunity to relax and sample a little southern hospitality!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
