A couple of the strands were connected to the wrong ends, but that was easy to fix. It's more of a secondary light. Very cute overall and great price.

You can use light bulbs or candles, just keep in mind to close off the sockets if you use candles otherwise you won't be able to replace bulbs should you decide to change the use for it.
