Description
With 5 full inches of extra seat width, the Dutailier Modern Grande Glider - Espresso & Velvet Beige gives you all the room you need to relax. The velvet beige microfiber fabric is as fuzzy soft as a kitten's ear. You'll love sinking into the plush removable cushions and padded arms, thickly pleated for extra cush. The strong, angular all-wood construction is polished in a gleaming near-black espresso finish that's non-toxic. Natural wood texture is visible through this multi-layered stain. Glide to nature's most basic rhythm, restorative for adults and soothing to babies. Exceeds all safety standards and has no sharp edges so it's kid-safe, too. Assembles easily. The standard glider features are included in option level Silver, and exciting additional glider features are available in the Gold and Platinum option levels. Add the padded gliding ottoman with matching velvet beige fabric (not included) and feel your cares softly sway away.

About Dutailier's Silver, Gold, and Platinum Levels
Customize your Dutailier glider with these luxurious option levels:
Silver delivers the legendary ergonomic seat and back, adjustable seat and back height, and integrated sinuous spring support for maximum comfort. Patented GLIDE-R-Motion technology allows smooth, extra-long gliding on top-quality ball bearings.
Gold glider option includes all of the Silver level features and adds the Multiposition mechanism which allows you to lock your glider in six stable positions. Lock it back for reading, forward for comfortable TV watching. Multiposition lock holds the glider still so it's easier to sit in or rise out of the chair.
Platinum includes all of the above features, plus Dutailier's patented Smooth Recliner Motion, allowing the back to be reclined any amount up to 18 sleepy degrees. Lean it back and put your feet on a gliding ottoman for heavenly rest and relaxation.

I surprised my wife with this chair for when she came back from the hospital and it was a huge success! So I am like all the others who spend countless hours of research to ensure that I am buying the best product. This chair has exceeded my expectations. I love the design and appearance of this chair--it looks way better in person that it does online. Also, the extra width is a must! I worried that it would be too big but that is not an issue at all. I actually called a dutailier retailer in CA and asked the question about the grand seating and they said that it is never a problem. It actually isn't even that big. To me it feels normal. I read reviews about not being able to feed in the chair because the arm rests are so far apart but in my limited experience, it isn't a problem. The cushion is extremely soft but yet firm which is how it should be, the arm rests are super soft but firm and again the wood design and cushions look great together. My wife loves this chair as do I and I truly feel that this is the best chair out there for the money. In my opinion, this is an item that you don't go cheap on. My sister has both a dutailier and a cheaper glider and told me that she doesn't even use the cheaper one anymore because it squeaks and wakes her kids up. She has had her dutailier for years and made sure that I went with dutailier because it's simply the best. The reclining and rocking features work perfectly. Oh one other note, the fabric is micro fiber. I was confused because it doesn't say that on the online description but I am almost positive that it is microfiber. It cleans really well. Again, we are very pleased with this purchase and expect to have it for many years down the road.

Our order was delivered earlier than expected. Arrived mostly assembled and remaining assembly was easy. My husband has had back problems most of his life. This chair is perfect for him. We are very pleased with our purchase. We are considering purchasing a second one.
