The Elegant Flyer Sled looks like fine furniture, but is a super fun sled! It is built from durable maple and flame birch with black-stained willow handrails. The pivot design provides amazing turning power, even on snow-packed slopes, thanks to the patent-pending steering and durable black plastic skids on the bottom. Each Elegant Flyer is signed and numbered by the sledmaker, giving it a unique personalized quality. You also have to option to hand-engrave your child's name right onto the sled. Lettering is 2 inches tall and runs lengthwise up the center of the sled. For children 3 years and up. Weight capacity: 300 pounds. Dimensions: 48L x 24W x 4H inches.

What an unbelievable sledding experience. At first glance I thought that the Elegant Flyer was like the sleds of old. However, the base is 21st century, floats above the snowbanks and steers super well. By the way, three small kids can actually ride on this beauty. At the end of the day, nothing looks as wonderfully nostalgic as the Elegant Flyer standing next to the fireplace.
