Description
Built by a relative newcomer to the aviation industry, the ERJ-145 aircraft family is Embraer's first major success since its privatization in 1994 (although the aircraft's concept began well before then). Several civilian and military variants of the ERJ-145 exist, and more than one thousand examples of all types have been built. The ERJ-145's excellent sales have helped to establish the South American aviation industry, and lend it significant credibility.
This successful airliner is reproduced here in an exacting model of an American Eagle aircraft. Painstaking attention to detail and superb craftsmanship make this model a must have for any enthusiast.
