Description
These wonderful classic wall sconces will help beautify your deck, patio, or poolside! These torches are made of a high-quality, non-corrosive die-cast aluminum and is finished with a superior 5-step powder-coating process. The finish is so superior that the color of your torch will never change or fade. Included with your torch is a permanent fiberglass wick that stays lit through all kinds of weather. Fiberglass wicks are long lasting because the oil burns, not the wick. This torch head holds 16 ounces of oil and will burn for approximately 10 hours. You can use citronella oil for insect control or paraffin oil for a smoke-free burn. The top of the torch is removable for easy cleaning and refilling.
Mount these wall sconces onto any vertical surface you choose. Two screws will hold them securely in place. Measures 21.5 inches from top of torch to the bottom of the plate. When lit, flame is 8.5 inches away from your mounting surface.

I got 6 of these for my small townhome backyard and mounted 3 on each side of the yard. They were very easy to install. I spent more time deciding on the height and spacing than I did installing them. I got the powder coated green, and it's a nice dark colour. These torches also come with a cover for the wick, not really a snuffer, they are covers. The chains for these covers are quite short, but they work well, and non have blown off or fallen off.
These fiberglass wicks are great, I can tell that they are going to last a very long time. I like that there are no bottles to fill, just open the top and poor in the oil.
The torches themselves are very thick and strong and the powder coat is great. I haven't had them long enough to know if they will remain rust-free for years and years, but I think they will. Water falls off them and they dry quickly.

This product is great with the exception one issue. The screw that holds the torch to the pole strips easy and does not hold the torch well. This is a problem with the sconces in that if the bottom screw strips the torch will swing down. That is the only complaint.

They look like the pictures, except that getting the torch to sit completely upright on the curved bracket is next to impossible. Be prepared to use your own self-tapping screw because the set screw provided doesn't do anything to hold the torch in place.

the set screws stripped out, but the other reviews told me to expect that to happend. I drilled the holes and put screws in - no hassel and they now very secure. They look great and really accent our deck.

The torch arrives in 4 pieces. The base plate is approximately 10.5 inches long and attaches with 2 soft metal screws. The curved stem attaches to the base using a tiny screw and the lantern portion sits on top of the stem. A small cap with a small chain sits over the wick and I received 3 wicks with the two torches. It would have been better and more solid if the torch was a single solid component[*]. Overall I rate this item 4 out of 5 and I'm being very generous.
