    WONDERFUL!!!

I am so happy with my purchase! It was delivered right on time and I love it. The baby is so comfortable in it. It was easy to put together and move around.

Could title this Love it but... My niece's 8-month-old boy loves it but the device needs a way to add or decrease resistance for the wheels. On a hard floor, the Walker scoots out from under him. Likewise, the same on a carpeted floor. The wheels need a brake (for standing) and variable resistance to be effective at various ages. Admittedly, 8-months is a little soon but why not. A modification or special model would add cost but value. Nonetheless, like all FP products, It is a quality product.

    Not happy

Comments about Fisher-Price Starlight Cradle Baby Swing:

We had gotten this swing when baby was 2 months as a gift from grandma to baby due to our son having colic. Baby loves it! Soothing music and a star light show calmed my baby and put him to sleep. I thought this was the best gift ever until the motor started making loud grinding noises and would just shut off. After 2 days of that, it doesn't swing anymore! I absolutely loved this swing until it stopped working. Very upset because it only worked a month and a half. After reading other reviews, this is an on going issue with these swings. I wouldn't recommend paying that amount of money to have it not work. I called Fisher Price and thankfully are replacing the swing. Very helpful and kind customer representative! Hopefully, we don't have the same problem with the new one on the way!

Comments about Fisher-Price Starlight Cradle Baby Swing:

After reading everyones reviews you would think that fisher price was new to the baby toy making game. But in reality they are one of the longest running toy companies around and thats for a reason they are good at what they do. this swing has had some down falls but if you would call there customer service line they are more then happy to help. if they cant tell you how to fix it they will replace it. i have a different themed swing but the same thing. i love my swing my daughter loves the swing. She has no issue with the clicking noises it makes which should pretty much be expected every swing i have ever seen makes a clicking noise from every brand. My mobile has currently stopped working and they do not carry the exact theme any more so they are replacing my swing. i think fisher price is more than fair and people should stop complaining so harshly about them. i over all think its a great swing and have recommened it. And no i am not being paid to write this.

    Clicking noise is common.

Comments about Fisher-Price Starlight Cradle Baby Swing:

When we had our first child 5 years ago I wanted this swing so bad. With our third child, who is 6 weeks old, we finally purchased it. My son loves when the lights and mobile are on, he actually looks up and waits for them while I get him buckled in but after a few minutes it starts to make a horrible clicking noise that scares him. I thought maybe it was just an issue with ours until I was watching a reality TV show and saw that the same swing was making the same noise when their new baby was in it. So I decided to read the reviews (which I should have done before the purchase) and I'm finding that most comments are about the same noise! The main reason I bought the swing was for the lights and now I can't even use them or my child is woken up from these loud noises! Basically leaving me with just a regular swing.. Could have saved a few $ If I would have done some research first.. Not happy with fisher price :(

Would Be A Great Swing If It Worked

    By Charleen

    from Cleveland, OH

Comments about Fisher-Price Starlight Cradle Baby Swing:

I selected this swing after much research because of the features it offered, even though I saw multiple bad reviews online. Parents should heed these warnings because now I know what they were talking about. When the swing works, it's wonderful- it puts my baby right to sleep and she loves it! Unfortunately, we can only get it to maintain motion about 1 out of 5 times in one direction, and it doesn't work at all in the other direction. Most of the time, we put the baby in, turn the swing on, move it to begin motion, and after about 10 times back and forth, it just slows and stops and then the motor makes horrible loud clicking noises. In addition, the mobile gets stuck constantly when on, and also makes horrible loud clicking noises that startle the baby. As I sit here and type this, the swing is actually working for once, and if it worked all the time, I'd happily give it 5 stars. Instead, I'm often left frustrated and angry, trying over and over to get it to work, while my baby gets increasingly upset, and I feel like I wasted a lot of money when another brand would have been better. Unfortunately now that my money has been spent, I don't have extra to try another swing. I'm terribly disappointed in Fisher Price's quality and will probably not get another item from them.

    Not worth your money!

Comments about Fisher-Price Starlight Cradle Baby Swing:

I havent even had this swing for that long. My baby is only 6 weeks old (8lbs) and the motor is fried. When it WAS working it was extremely loud and made clicking noises. For how much money this is sellIng for it is NOT worth your money. Now I am stuck with a swing that I spent how much money on and it doesn't work and it cant be fixed. I will not recommend this to a friend. Hopefully Fisher prices comes up with a better way to make these swings because they are nice way to put baby to sleep but only if it continues to work. Poor quality. Very disappointed.
