We had a swing but no frame for it. I thought about building one , so I went online looking for plans for a swing frame. In the search I saw the ad for this swing frame. I thought it was a lot better and cheaper than building one out of treated wood. We are very pleased with the purchase.

I needed a swing frame and did not have time to make one. I have a fully equipped shop and am a professional woodworker. I ordered the swing frame and received it within just a few days.
Upon opening the box, I noticed that both ends of EVERY piece of pipe were bent some. I had to use a pair of pliers to open up the ends in order to install the end-caps. The instructions are basically worthless. They do not indicate that the swing legs are attached in a specific manner in order to have the legs splayed out. I had to take the swing frame apart twice in order to turn parts around. Putting the swing together by yourself is an exercise in frustration. Having one helper will minimize the frustration and having two helpers should eliminate it.
Once put together, it is readily apparent that the swing frame Is cheaply made from very thin-walled pipe. It moves side-to-side, as there is no cross bracing at all. Due to all of the weight and pressure being forced onto the metal-to-metal ends, the frame squeaks incessantly and is very annoying.
I would recommend spending some more money for a properly designed, quality, frame. This is a case of cheap price equals cheaper product.

My husband and I were very happy with this frame....It was not hard to put together,and it looks nice and sturdy. The problem came at the very end of the assembly procedure...the holes for the bolt,to hold the swing,Did Not Line Up!! They were off by at least an inch! My husband drilled a new hole in the metal pole and solved the problem,but he shouldn't have had to do that..I hope there is more careful inspection by the manufacturer in the future,because it is otherwise a good product.
