My 8 year daughter Elisa picked this herself from your Web site. It came in just a few days and she was delighted to be able to mostly assemble it herself. Since she is a "reading machine" as her friends at school call her, we will have to buy some more bookcases soon.

The bookcase is the perfect size for our children's playroom and the design is fun. I did notice however that the product looked used and almost beat-up looking already. It is something that was not caused in delivery, I can tell that it was sent from the warehouse that way- the corners were banged up and there were scratches that looked like they were painted over. I was already in the middle of assembling the bookcase and did not want to go through the process of unassembly and re-packing to return to the company. Other than the damage, the bookcase is perfect

The only positive thing I can say is it arrived quickly. Bookcase is poor quality and Hayneedle might want to consider another shipping company. Very lousy delivery service. Box was upside down in my flower bed(there was no reason the box couldn't have been put on the porch.)and the packing slip that was supposed to be on the box was gone. Not impressed.

Beautiful bookcase in picture, but not in reality. very disappointed the bookcase was delivered damaged and also no screws to put the book case together.
