Decent sandbox, but they charged me $50 for a cover. I thought I would get a decent cover, but no I got a small tarp and a freaking blowup beachball to keep it elevated. For $50. The cover won't keep out the rain. It's summer so lots of thunderstorms and I cannot keep the sand dry. My child has had this for 2 weeks and not played in it yet because these morons think a little tarp is an adequate cover. The sand is soaked and won't dry. I really regret buying this. Instead, buy one of those plastic turtle sandboxes because those come with a cover that will keep out water!!

We purchased this for our backyard for our grandson when he visits. It doesn't take up much space and is pleasant to look at. We purchased it with the cover option.

The sandbox turned out to be a little smaller than I had invisioned, but after buying 12 bags of sand to fill it, turned out to be just right. My 10 year old and 2.5 year old both love playing in it. I like the durable materials, especially with all the rain and snow we get up here. It was really simple to put together, only took about 20 minutes. I did buy additional weed covering to put beneath just in case the one supplied did not hold. I only marked it down a star because of price, but I guess the folks who make this have to eat too.
I highly recommend getting the cover with it. It is a little pricey, but worth it, especially if there are cats in your neighborhood.
