Comments about Funtek Health Bounce Light Rebounder:
As a result of Central Nervous System Vasculitis (CNSV) seven years ago, my brain forgot how to do everything. The following weeks and months, my brain relearned how to raise my head, roll over, sit, crawl, stand, and walk but not how to jump, stand on one foot, or stay balanced while standing. After several falls, I became more and more sedentary to stay safe and now suffer from angina with the least bit of activity.
I knew from watching my grandchildren that jumping is a milestone in childhood and neurological development, but there was no safe place for me to jump. This trampoline is a safe place where I can exercise my brain and my heart. My husband put it together for me last night and closely monitored me as I got on, lightly bounced (without my feet leaving the surface), practiced balancing, and got off. Today, I got on, bounced, balanced, and got off -- all by myself!
My only complaint is that no doctor or physical therapist has recommended jumping with a product like this. Only time will tell, but I think I would have regained my balance years ago -- if only I had this product!
