Cleaning and Caring for Sunbrella
Regular maintenance is the best way to keep your Sunbrella fabrics looking good and delay deep, vigorous cleaning. Brush off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabrics, and wipe up spills as soon as they occur. For light cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution and a sponge, allowing your cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry.

Caring for Sunbrella fabric is easy. Simply follow these steps for season after season of bright, durable fabric:
- Brush off any loose dirt
- Prepare a cleaning solution of 2 ounces (1/4 cup) mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water (less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit/38 degrees Celsius)
- Use a sponge or a soft bristle brush to clean
- Allow cleaning solution to soak into fabric
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
- Allow fabric to air dry

This is a very well built and stylish umbrella. My neighbors are jealous because it looks so good on my deck. The lights are gorgeous when lit up and give a soft ambient glow. You will not be sorry for buying this one!

The quality of the sunbrella is wonderful. I would have liked to have information on the location of the plug in for the lights and also how the concept of auto tilt works. I had to make inquiries on line to get this information. I have never had an auto tilt or illuminated umbrella before.

I purchased this umbrella in Thatch Java. At the time I thought it was just a name, only to realize that the color is java (brown) but the covering is actually a faux thatch. I immediately thought tacky, cheap and ugly, so I called and canceled it. Unfortunately, I was too late. I then tried to contact FedEx to cancel the delivery and return it to the sender. That didn't work either. Finally Hayneedle offered to send me a return address lable and told me to just turn it back to the delivery guy. Well, when the umbrella arrived, curiosity caused me to open the box. I decided to put it up to do a "look-see." Bam, all previous impressions went out the window, and I fell in love with this quirky and fun umbrella. It is so cute. It definitely cuts down on the heat from the sun and it really feels cooler under the umbrella. And when it is lit at night, it creates a wonderful ambiance. I love the compliments I've gotten from the neighbors. I'm keeping this pleasant surprise.

There is just nothing bad to say about this. I got it in Subrella Straw Linen. It is beautiful. And the lights are a nice yellow making them perfect for night lighting.
