      Best Uses

This unbrella replaced our 1 WEEK old 9' C.C. umbrella that had LED lights and manual tilt. It was nice and the lights worked but the crank failed. HAYNEEDLE WAS WONDERFUL and refunded my money instantly. I'm a bargin/value shopper and decided to spend more for better construction. This Galtech fit the bill. Although it does NOT have the LED lights, the design is significantly better in ways I could not have imagined when I sought that 1st umbrella. First, the tubular frame is heftier. Second,(and very important to me) is that the CRANK MECHINISM IS LOCATED LOWER than the hem of the fabric - no more struggling to reaching beneath the fabric when I want to open/close it. And the crank operates MUCH MORE smoothly that the C.C. It also has an attached fabic tie to secure the umbrella closed and a decorative fineal finishing the top. The pole sections screw together with brass fittings and the bottom portion has holes so that there can be a positive connection to an umbrella stand. (I don't need a stand but I used the holes to extend the diameter {with a 2" bolt and rubber washers} so that wind can not lift the umbrella out of the table.) So far, NO PROBLEMS. This time, SPENDING MORE SEEMS TO BE THE RIGHT DECISION. I only wish Hayneedle offered the ability to edit/update reviews.
