Comfort and functionality all in one value-priced dog house! Solid wood construction with a raised floor and slant-roof design helps to keep your pet dry and warm. The off-center entrance provides increased shelter from the elements and allows your pet to turn around inside more easily. Cedar-colored stain on solid fir wood and a green stain on the roof make a natural look to enhance your backyard. Available in three sizes: small, medium and large. Assembles in three simple steps.
The difference between the Precision Extreme Outback Log Cabin (PPP111) and the Precision Outback Log Cabin (PPP001) is the shingle material and the feet protection. The Extreme has asphalt shingles to protect against extreme weather conditions, while the Outback Log Cabin has solid fir wood shingles with a green stain. Newly added features on the Extreme include plastic caps for the feet to protect from moisture.

This product is a really nice home for an animal. Contruction requires little assistance from second person. The large model is pretty big so moving it after completed building it will be a little tougher. The only negative "Con" I had is that the floor is not one piece and has small gaps probaly 1/8" apart. It does allow for easy cleaning to take the floor out to clean very nice!! I think with out the space in the floor I would have rated this a perfect product. A must have!!! Looks very attractive!!

Pros: If you live in So Cal (like me) where it doesn't rain often and it doesn't get too hot or too cold, this house will work fine and it looks nice.
Cons:
The house isn't very well insulated, so if you live in a cold area, be sure to use hay or buy the insulation kit. Also, it was very easy for our dog to remove the flooring slats and tear them apart. After removing the floor slats (which we promptly removed and threw away, she was then able to get hold of the side panel and rip that out too. After that, we switched to a dog house that was less enticing for her and she's been fine (so far).

Got this as a Christmas present and after delivery being delayed for 2.5 months, we assembled and looks nice but the floor is so flimsy that I was worried it would break when my Golden got in. Didn't need to worry though. Even she doesn't trust it and refuses to go in. She puts one paw in and backs right out when it starts to give.

a top piece of the trim was broken off when we got it and that was disappointing. Not worth the trouble of a return but not completely satisfied with it. It is a cute house and I think it will serve it's purpose but I question it's durability if it is already breaking.

This is a nice dog house. It's well designed, very easy to assemble, requiring only a screwdriver. However, the construction of it leaves a bit to be desired. There were several parts of different pieces that were not well built, requiring some repair on my part. The finish of it is OK but not great. I have added a spar urethane finish to the outside, which makes it look really nice and provides better wet weather protection.
Overall, this is a very good value.
