Here is the product discription:"The Guidecraft Art Table and Chair Set in Honey, is made of sturdy hardwood that has a smooth, fine grain that makes it exceptionally durable and easy to clean." As you can see it says the product is made of "strudy hardwood", this is not true. The table legs, the chair frame sides and the peices that hold the paper roll are wood. The table, the chair seat, chair back and drawer are all made of MDF and covered with veneer. I found the misleading discription to be upseting and that is why I rated it only two stars. While not inexpensive this set is less expensive then most. When I read that it was "hardwood" I felt it to be a good value. Now that I see that it is not I'm not sure I would have purchased it. The set itself is not that bad however. It has a few fit and finish issues with the chair that are minor. Other than that I am generally satisfied except for the misleading description.

Over all the desk is good for now. I should start looking at the dimensions from now on.Kids grow up so fast and I might need a new desk in about two years or less. I am very pleased with the easy put together instructions.
