This is an excellent way to have your gun at your bedside and ready, but protected from the kids. I love the easy access keypad, the way the pistol is presented in the perfect position to grab, and the mute feature. There are a few cons however, if you put the code in wrong, it can give you some grief entering it again by flashing the red light at you if you re-attmpt to soon. The battery that I first put in was below the recommended 9.22V and the safe wouldn't open. I never got a low battery alarm, perhaps because it was at 8.97 before I put it in. Overall, I am very satisfied.

This is a great gun safe that is slick and fast to open. The mounting options are fantastic and allow you to mount in a number of locations. Just bought my first and am about to buy my second. I strongly recommend it!
