Although it is dual temp controlled, you can only adjust the small section down to red wine temp. The large section can be controlled low enough for either white or red. I would think you should be able to adjust both of them low so you can decide which section you want to use for white or red. I drink mostly red wine so prefer to store it in the large section, but the small section doesn't cool low enough for white wine. This was a VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT for me. Other than that, which is a lot if you store more red than white, the cooler is very nice and quiet. Guess I will have to just store the white at a hotter temperature than I want. I could have accomplished this with a single temperature model and probably saved money.

Received this in fantastic shape. It was easy to set up and getgoing. Temperature holds great at what I set and able to set different temperatures between top and bottom. Nice looking and loving it! Some reviews complained cooler didnt reach the temp they wanted. Suggest you put 18 bottles of room temp wine in cooler before turning it on. then preset temp on the top and bottom to what you like and give the cooler time to get there! my reds are at 56 and my whites at 50! Love this wine cellar!
