Very easy to assemble. Almost too nice looking for outdoors! After the first rain it was clear the they needed better weather protection. I applied an oil based outdoor stain/water repellent. Thats all they needed. Very satisfied with the quality and look. We had been shopping for a while and wanted the chairs to be well made, nice looking, comfortable and long lasting. We feel that these chairs have fit that bill and are confident that they will give us many years of enjoyment.

Our family purchased this set last year and were so pleased that we purchased another set this year. I would suggest adding a couple coats of boiled Linseed Oil followed by a couple coats of exterior wood sealant used on boats. We also found that by adding washers and locking nuts when assembling the chairs and side table made for added support. If you're looking for comfortable chairs with wide arm rests to place your drinks on, these are the ticket!

I was surprised at the price range of wooden adirondack chairs. I was looking for something of good quality without spending a fortune - and these chairs are perfect. Solid construction, very comfortable and easy to assemble. Unlike some reviews I read I had no problem lining up holes - don't forget NOT to tighten all bolts until the end! Chairs are a great value on their own - the free side table is just a bonus!

I put these on my screened in porch and they are great! Very sturdy and easy to assemble. I would suggest applying an oil-based varnish if left outside. If I had a bigger porch I would order 2 more!
