It's still a very pretty sofa. It looks brighter in the photo but it's a darker red. I don't have children and I have a chaise to lounge on so I think it will work for someone like me. I'm not too crazy about the rail back and bottom (kids, WILL destroy it). But the cushions are firm and comfy and it's pretty enough to really take a room to that next level. Although it's darker than what I thought, I love it! Here's to hoping it stays clean and is durable over the long run! Oh, and their customer service is top notch!
