Comments about A&E Cage Co. Corner Aviary - Hexagon:
The best way to put this cage together if you are doing it alone is to duck tape the supporting clamps to the cage once they are attached. This way they do not come off while assembling.
Went together like a breeze until the last side of a clamp. Had quite a time with that one - bent it something terrible!
I thought I put the sides together in the proper order, but the grate does not fit and the cage looks a little crooked. A&E should label the parts! I thought the green metal pieces were clamps for the wheels but they do not line up with the holes underneath the cage. Are they for the roof???
Yes, I would buy it again - in a larger size and hire a handyman to put it together. It looks nice in my livingroom!
Pros
- Spacious

Comments about A&E Cage Co. Corner Aviary - Hexagon:
I am disappointed in the quality of the aviary. The white corner pieces do not stay in place and slide down, catching on things as the cage is moved, the tray and grate do not sit flush with the sides and the sides buckle easily. Wish there were a larger door for easier access to birds. Instructions were useless. If it weren't so hard to repackage, I would probably return it tomorrow.

Comments about A&E Cage Co. Corner Aviary - Hexagon:
Nice roomy cage with good roof coverage. Fairly easy assembly, but does require a 2nd pair of hands to hold it together while attaching the panels.
I laid it on its side while I assembled it and thought to myself...wow....wouldn't it be great if they made a cage that is really wide, instead of really tall? So when I had my bird house built, we modified this cage a little and laid it on its side. We put it on top of a cabinet, with a space between the cabinet top and the cage to accommodate trays. Wonderful. Houses 20 English Budgies easily. Have 6 breeding pair in it now.

Comments about A&E Cage Co. Corner Aviary - Hexagon:
[...] The most frustrating thing about it was there were two very bad illustrations included that gave us no one clue on how to assembly the cage. It took hours to figure it out!! The cage came with wheels, but there was no way to attached the wheels, so my husband had to fabricate flanges to support the wheels.
