We would have much rather the pins/hinges be on the inside, but out of the ones on the outside, this one looked like the safest type. The box took a beating on it's way to us, and the safe shows no signs of damage, so I'm guessing it's sturdy! :) We would recommend it to someone looking for a beginner safe.

Never owned a safe before.was apt. was robbed in the past, was devestated,didn't have tenants insurance,$5500 of jewelry & digital equip.I'm a divorved high voltage lineman and away from home days and sometimes weeks. Feel soo much more at ease now.My mom gave me a check to purchase this for my birthday, Moms know best. Jus have to secure to the floor to complete the installation. Very Pleased. K.G.
