Comments about A and E Cage Co. A&E Cage Co. House Top Bird Cage:

Perfectly spaced for 1 (no more than 2) parakeets.
Feeding cups are covered to prevent seed spills/water contamination
Enough space to allow several toys without making the cage seem cramped
Perches can be moved in several different location combinations.

Grate can only be removed by disassembling the whole cage. I recommend removing the grate all together and using gravel paper to line the bottom of the cage (gravel paper will help keep your bird's nails trim)

Sliding doors may lead to a future problem if your bird is clever enough to open them. (a twisty tie will easily prevent this)

Overall a terrific starter cage!
