Easy-to-use buttons and sliders allow you to set the time and alarm or hit the snooze, and the oversized numbers are easy to see when you are in unfamiliar places. The dial includes a Smart Lite night light that automatically comes on at night and turns itself off during the day. This clock's quartz alarm movement needs one AAA battery (not included). When you pack your swimsuit and camera, don't forget to include your Blackstone travel alarm clock.

Comments about Howard Miller 645-679 Blackstone Travel Alarm Clock:
Sister wanted a travel clock that stays lit all night.I did set it - very easy. Checked the night light feature - it worked. Can't speak to reliability until she uses it over a period of time. Travel clocks with night light feature are hard to find.

Picked it for the ability to see at night w/o "pushing a button". Like the fold up aspect of it too.

Comments about Howard Miller 645-679 Blackstone Travel Alarm Clock:
Easy to set. The alarm is louder than I thought it would be, which is a good thing. I love the fact that I can carry it in my backpack or a purse so there's no reason to wear a watch...no tan line. Basically, it's everything you need when you're traveling.

Great unit. Just a functional clock. Great back lit clock face without pushing a button. Built in cover keeps buttons from being pushed accidentally in your luggage.
