This hammock was an excellent price for the quality of both hammock and stand. The quilted design is very comfortable - plush and without the wrap-around effect you get from Brazilian hammocks. The pillow adds an additional bonus and can be unbuttoned and removed if you decide against it.
The fabric and stand are also very classy-looking. The wood grain finish goes incredibly well with the design. I was worried about the look of this when I ordered online, but this stand far outweighs the look of any other metal frame I've seen. The stand is fine to leave outside in rain or shine, although I do take the hammock back inside after every use.
Lastly, the set up was incredibly easy. No tools, no hassle. I had it up in 10 minutes!

This hammock was a Father's Day gift for my husband and due to storms we couldn't set it out until July. In gusting 10 - 15 mph winds the hammock acted like a kite and flew over multiple times and almost broke a nearby tree. When it was in use and before the stand broke it was extremely comfortable sat under a large shade tree in the corner of our yard for about 3 months (off and on as I'd have to roll up the hammock every time there was gusting winds). We live in the midwest so we don't have long summers so by early October we brought it inside. After 3 months it was extremely faded. When I took it down for the fall it felt very unstable and I realized that one of the arms that holds one end of the hammock had a broken part inside that helps clamp it to the base that sits on the ground. This is unsettling. My husband loves to sit in the hammock at night with our 4-year-old and look at the stars. He loves this product. I despise it. It's unsafe and not worth the extra money I spent to buy a "quality" product. I could have spent half the money for the same quality at a local discount store.
I would not buy this product again. At least they offer a 6 month wear and tear return policy. Unfortunately I didn't realize it until too late. I should have gotten my money back. The hammock stand is now at the scrap metal yard.

The hammock and stand are great. Very comfortable and stylish. I would recommend this product to a friend.
However, when I placed my order, it was clearly stated that it was in stock and could be delivered free of charge within a week. After not receiving on the specified date (of which I was VERY disappointed because I wanted it in time for my summer visitors) i contacted Hayneedle.com by email and was supposed to recieive an answer within 24 hr - which I DID NOT. I then contacted them by phone and was told that the hammock was in stock but not the stand. This is not a valid response in my opinion as on their website these items are sold separately AND as the combo.
It took 3 weeks to arrive - too late for my company to enjoy. I most probably will not be making any purchases from Hayneedle.com again.
