A large 5-inch king presides over the assembly, which was handcrafted by Italian artisans. Pair these exquisite pieces with your choice of two remarkable boards. The Magnificent Italian Briarwood Chess Board features large 2.375-inch squares made from inlaid briarwood with a matching raised frame, all enhanced by gold and silver accents. Spanish artisans crafted the gray and white Swirling Stream Board with 2.375-inch squares from maple and erable, a wood with a unique grain that lends this board a deep, flowing appeal. Brass corners finish the look.

Comments about Cambor Games Italian Gold & Silver Plated Chess Set:
This was a very nice chess set, the only complaint I would have is that the pieces arnt all built cocentrically.. in other words ideally each piece should be in the center of itself and have the metal rings etc equadistant from the center, and alot of the pieces this isnt true, but then at a glance you dont notice this.
