About PolyWood
The advantages of PolyWood Recycled Plastic are hard to ignore. PolyWood absorbs no moisture and will NOT rot, warp, crack, splinter, or support bacterial growth. POLYWOOD® material is made of HDPE plastic resin that has been purified and UV protected. It is generally cared for and cleaned with soap and warm water.
For certain stains and additional cleaning power, a 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water solution can be used on the product without affecting the color.
Also, a popular method of cleaning is a high-pressure power wash. (Not to exceed 1,500 psi, which is the equivalent of a car wash.) The surface characteristics of the product may require the use of a soft bristle brush to get into the creases.
The hardware used in the assembly and construction of our furniture is an 18-8 commercial-grade stainless steel that has an additional Xylan protective and cosmetic coating. Although the quality of the hardware has a high level of corrosive resistance, the hardware can show some sign of corrosion in salt air environments.
A practical solution to these signs of corrosion would be to wash the product with soap and water. Use a soft bristle brush to scrub the corroding areas of the hardware. Also, use appliance touch-up paint in the appropriate color to protect the hardware. Appliance touch up-paint can be purchased at local hardware stores.

I have had my two rockers for about 6 weeks;. They are on a sheltered front porch. They are very comfortable and look like real wood. I shopped for a long time and am very happy with these rockers. I would highly recommend for furniture with easy upkeep....I have bad knees and wanted something not too low and these are a perfect height.

The Poly wood material and woven seat were what I expected and it is very attractive. However, the chair is not as big as it appears to be. I would describe this as a "small ladies chair" It's not for a average size man or large man" and really not that comfortable. It was fairly easy to assemble but the screws that came with it were "third rate". I would go to a local hardware store and get some better screws just so you do not have deal with it later. I think the chair will last a long time but not one I will use a lot.

SOME OF THE HARDWRE WAS MISSING AND THE CARTON HAD LOOKED LIKE IT WAS RECOUPED.WENT OUT AND BOUGHT SCREWS THAT WERE MISSING AND FINISHED PUTTING CHAIR TOGETHER.SHOULD CHECK CARTONS IF THEY HAVE BEEN OPEN PREVIOUSLY. NICE PRODUCT BUT BE MORE OBSERVANT IF CARTON LOOKS LIKE IT WAS RECOUPED.

So far, so good. We are replacing wooden rockers that stay out in the sun all the time, and I can't keep paint on them. We'll see how these holdup. They feel more substantial, and they are more comfortable and a little larger. The hayneedle purchase experience was very positive. They kept or exceeded every commitment they made. Now if the chairs hold up for the twenty yeard warranty, we will be delighted.

I was pleased with the quality of the product and the comfort. The woven seat contours to your body and the aesthetic is nice. The product reasonably resembles wood (exactly as pictured) and appears to be very durable. From what I can tell thus far, they were worth the money. I plan to leave them on my covered porch year round so time will tell how they weather.

very pricey and for the price we expected to have easy assembly it was not the screw holes were not drilled all the way through or did not line up. Once finially assembled we were very pleased with the end product very attractive and very solidly made. You don't have to be careful how you sit down comfortable without the cushions but the cushions add alittle extra comfort.
