We purchased this dollhouse for our granddaughters, ages 5 and 7. As other reviewers have stated it required about 3 hours to assemble but the process was very straighforward and fairly painless. The precision fit of all the pieces was amazing. The wood was all straight, easy to work with and substantial. Pieces were pre-drilled and all of the holes lined up exactly. Screws and fittings were tightly packaged so as not to be lost. Extra hardware was included "just in case". The printed wallpapers were securely glued to the walls and all unfinished edges tucked neatly into floor grooves where they are protected from peeling. Attention to detail is wonderful down to the pink headed screws to attach the roof.
We purchased this particular house because it is accessible from all sides and allows children to play together and still have their own space. With ten rooms of furniture there is some duplication of parts (beds, sofas, tables) which should minimize sharing problems. The set contains living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, master bedroom, kids bedroom, nursery, playroom, bathroom, and computer room--a very well appointed house. The furniture is sturdy, well made and realistic.
The casters are a great addition because the house is large and it is great to be able to roll it out to play and back against the wall for storage. All in all this is a very well designed and well executed house that should last for many years. We are very pleased with the purchase.

The quality of the house and furniture is excellent. However, I was lead to beleive this would fit dolls up to Barbie size. This is inaccurate. The dolls should not exceed 9 inches for the furnitire.

My daughter loves this, she wakes up in the morning and goes straight to her doll house, and Yes I do play with her but I have the tall GIJOE guys with guns and cammo its great! It is huge and will grow with her and stay in the family. most of if it real wood and KidCraft quality, and you know there some of the best!

This is a replacement for a doll house we just bought last Christmas and is falling apart and it was a nightmare to put together. This one is twice the quality and twice the play space.
