I like this little convection counter-top oven. I often use the reheat feature. I prefer to reheat food in the oven if at all possible rather than use the microwave oven. Just seems to heat and taste better. Great for a single person's kitchen. Broil and toast are also two of my favorites. Now that summer is on it's way, I'm sure this will create a lot less heat in my small kitchen and that is always a plus. I have only done a small amount of baking in this oven, but I like the convection feature and I do plan to do more baking to really give it a workout. Really, the one concern I have is that when opened, the door does not open far enough out so that it rests on the counter. I did slightly burn myself when I reached to remove something from the oven. I guess I need a new oven mit. The only other concern I had was when I first set it up and realized the window in the door was not positioned right. There was a gap of about 1/2 inch from the glass to where it fit into the door. I was able to remedy this by moving the window back into place. I just hope it latched in as it was supposed to. It does not seem to leak heat at all now, so I must have done something right. All-in-all I would recommend this product to others. I have really enjoyed using it and plan to use it a lot more. Thank you KitchenAid! It has made my life esier!

We purchased this model because it had features that would theoretically allow us to use one appliance for multiple kitchen tasks. It never met our expectations and has died after approximately a year of service. It accurately baked and broiled but seemed to take forever to reach an adequate heat level. Once it was at temp, the thermostat did a good job - kept a steady temp. For toast - forget it. A 4-5 minute toast cycle with unpredictable results is not what we expected. Regarding durability - that is a huge disappointment. The controls are dead - no pilot light. this happened after the oven was unplugged and moved to clean the counters. Plugged it back in and walked away. When we went to use it later it was dead. No blue light and no response. It looked good on the shelf at Target but never really delivered on its promises. I expected more from Kitchenaid.

    Too Large

    By ncjoel

Comments about KitchenAid KCO223CU Convection Bake Countertop Oven:

This is definitely a good looking appliance, however, it is way too big to sit on the counter where we had our old toaster oven. If we hadn't had another section of counter off to the side where we could put it, we would definitely had to take it back.

    Stopped Working!

    By AMil

Comments about KitchenAid KCO223CU Convection Bake Countertop Oven:

We received this as a shower gift and finally were able to start using it after we moved into our new house. We were getting our kitchen down and relying on the appliance almost everyday for about 2 weeks. In that 2 week time period of using it, it worked great! However about a week after that, I tried to use the bake feature and nothing happened. My husband tried different outlets but nothing worked! We used this product less than 15 times before it gave up. This is unacceptable for a Kitchen-aid product!

    Easy to use

Comments about KitchenAid KCO223CU Convection Bake Countertop Oven:

I got this as a gift and love it! It fits nicely on my counter but has ample room inside and I lovevthe option for two trays inside. The only part I don't like is the clicking of the timer, but that is to be expected unless you go digital which I did not want. Many functions, easy to use, overall a great toaster oven!

    Does everything

    By Miss K

Comments about KitchenAid KCO223CU Convection Bake Countertop Oven:

I am happy with it as I find I hardly need to use my oven. It has a large space to fit even large casserole dishes. Toasting takes a little longer than regular toaster but that is the only draw back but since you can put more bread in it has the bonus of cooking more at the same time!
