I love all the little detail and how amazing everything is. the toaster actually pops like a real toaster. The strawberry has Velcro so it can be a whole strawberry of two halves. The bacon is actually think and wavy. They really made sure this was an awesome kit! The muffin top comes off to revel bluberrys inside, the egg "cracks" open and has an over easy egg inside.

This is a perfect addition for a play kitchen that might be under your tree or left by santa tonight. Even if your little one does not have a kitchen this kit has everything you need for them to be able to "make" breakfast while they play.

I have not been able to get my daughter away from this set. She in love with it and has made plate after plate of food. This set was intended to, "Engages children as they crack open the egg, flip pancakes, fill the muffin with fruit, pop the toast into the toaster, and create a delicious meal"

I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in this set. We have the Pretend and Play Healthy Lunch, Dinner, and Picnic sets, and this set falls short. The pieces are so much smaller and not at all as realistic as the other Learning Resources food sets we own.
I was attracted to this set because I thought my son would really enjoy "cracking" the egg, but the egg barely fits into the egg and the egg is difficult to put together- even for me.
I do think that Learning Resources makes some of the best plastic play food out there- I just wish I had went with one of the other two breakfast sets they offer; I would pass on this one.

Comments about Learning Resources Pretend & Play Fishing Set:

My children really love this set they love playing with the egg and the bread slices. The egg is great although the yolk can be fiddly to put in to the shell to start with. My son loves making up different flavour pies and asking how much pie I would like. The set consists of a piece of dough and four cookies in different shapes and colours this is the highlight of the set. We all enjoy picking out the cookies with the suction cup.

Comments about Learning Resources Pretend & Play Fishing Set:

My son was really excited to play with the Bakery Set. He thought the fact that you could really crack a pretend egg and have a yolk come out was so cool. It offers realistic, hands-on play since you can crack open the egg, so it's great practice! The egg shells are kind of hard to put back together especially with putting the yolk back in side, but my son doesn't care and loves it anyways. The set also introduces parts of a whole with a sliceable 3-piece loaf of bread and a pie that has three 2-piece slices. Your child can fill the pie with fruit and you match the fruit with the colors. So this is a great way to practice colors with your child as well.
The bread is held together with velcro and you can cut it with the pretend knife that comes with the set. The bread is made of plastic and is kind of squishy so it's a little difficult to cut.
Our favorite part of the set is the cookies. It comes with a rolling pin and a slice of pretend dough that has shapes already cut in it. Then you take the cookie cutter that has a suction cup on it and pick up the cookies with it and place it on the tray.
Overall we thought this was a great product and highly recommend it!

Comments about Learning Resources Pretend & Play Fishing Set:

I love the ice cream scooper because it has a suction cup on the scooper so you can actually "scoop" the ice cream. Then if you hit the release button on the scooper, then it will release the ice cream right into your bowl or cone! My son thought that was pretty cool. The pretend chocolate syrup bottle has a piece of brown string hanging down so you can pretend that you are putting chocolate sauce on your ice cream.
My son loves the Pretend & Play Ice Cream Shop and we play almost daily. I have almost as much fun as Tobin does! It's a lot of fun and not only does it help Tobin with his colors, but it also teaches him hand-eye coordination and cooperation.

Comments about Learning Resources Pretend & Play Fishing Set:

We don't have a television, so when I need a break, unless I want a mess, I need to provide my kids with some really great entertainment.
I was previously sent the Pro Chef set by Learning Resources, and it came in quite handy right after I had my baby in June (my kids are still loving and playing with it), so when I was offered another product to review I was thrilled! While looking through their incredible site of ingenious toys, my kids outright begged me for the Pretend and Play Ice Cream Shop. This set could not be cuter!! My kids adore it! The quality is superb, and quite realistic. The set comes complete with an apron, a recipe book, and lots of toy ingredients one may need to run an ice cream shop. The apron is so stinkin' cute. The ice cream scoops pile into an ice
cream carton the one drawback I found was that it is a bit difficult to get the cover on and off, but not a big deal.
There's a dry erase menu, and even chocolate syrup! The banana is velcroed together, and can be split to make a banana split! There are lots of pieces, so my son and daughter were able to play together. This toy is great for parallel play as well as group play.
My kids loved following the recipes they were provided with. The recipes are actually picture displays so kids can easily recreate them and feel the satisfaction of their accomplishment! Following directions and copying in itself is a wonderful skill that kids learn in preschool, why not enhance their learning experience with real life toys they enjoy working with? This sets a great foundation for more difficult tasks later on like reading and writing.
We love Learning Resources, they keep toys safe, fun, affordable and educational! This brand has become a favorite in our home.

My 3-yr-old got this wonderful imagination-play toy for his third birthday. Almost 10 months later he still enjoys playing with it multiple times per week. The fishing vest fits nicely and is high quality, as are the other pieces. My son has a wonderful time casting the reel and catching the "Daddy, mommy and baby fishes" (large, medium and small). I highly recommend this fun set!

Additionally the strawberry's Velcro is faulty
