I got tired of the outdated spice rack hanging on the wall. I thought I'd try this as an alternative and paint it black to match my kitchen appliances. Now I wouldn't think of painting it because the bamboo finish is quite beautiful! It holds all 30 of my Spice Islands spice bottles and takes up minimal space on the shelf. It looks so nice, it sits out instead of hiding in the cabinet.

It was easy to asemble, no tools required. I would suggest using a wood glue for the legs, but that's not required. I put mine into a small cabinet to hold spices. It is much more sturdy than plastic imitations.
