In 2004, after years of wondering why nobody was making safe, fun, appropriate outdoor equipment for kids, Jeff and Julie Streeter were forced to hand-make a ski-training harness for their 18-month old son, because nobody offered one that they felt was either safe or appropriate. As they started producing more of these hand-made harnesses in their spare time, it became apparent that people all over the country, and soon the world, agreed that somebody needed to pay attention to the specialized needs children demand from their outdoor equipment.
