Overall, I really like this. Just got it today. Took me about 2 hours to assemble by myself, and I suck at assembling these things. For someone who isn't experienced at putting stuff like this together, I wish that the instructions were a little more clear. There are some things with the construction of it that worry me a little. One washer won't screw on, so I'm basically down a support which is a little scary. Also, one of the side supports doesn't fit together right and slips out at the right angles. The rubber stoppers (not sure if this is actually what they're called) didn't fit right because the metal where they insert was bent, so I had to chisel at the them. Otherwise, I'm really hoping this will be worth my buy. It's gorgeous looking, and comfy - we'll just see how sturdy it is. It says to disassemble for autumn and winter, but I think I'll leave it up and see what happens.

This swing looks beautiful, the color of the fabric and frame go very nice on a porch. However when assembling it we found many pieces of hardware missing so we had to go to the hardware store to get what was needed. A lot of the "welds" were poorly done and some of the holes drilled to bolt it together were not drilled in both pieces that fit together so we had to drill ourselves. The canopy is only attached once on each side so I had to sew some velcro strips onto it to secure it better or a good wind would have taken it and tipped it over. After all is said and done I like it and it is comfortable, however the cons as noted above are certainly challenging and I didn't expect that considering it's cost. Hard to return once you open and attempt to assemble so you might as well just get the extra parts yourself and get a handyman to put it together for you or spend more, get a better quality swing and hopefully you won't run into these problems.

no swing with first order. No problem exchanging for a new swing and this one had instructions. Would have no problem buying from Hayneedle. they could not have made the exchange any easier. Many thanks to your customer service staff.

Comments about Coral Coast Long Bay 2 Person Canopy Swing - Terra Cotta:

Received it on 5/9/14, my husband put it together, it was very simple to assemble. The tools that were supplied with it didn't fit the screws very well so he used his tools. We had a small rain shower and some wind during the night, got up and the canopy was in the yard, all 4 screws broke in half that held the canopy on. We went out and bought new screws, washers and nuts and put it back together. Today is Sunday 5/11/14 and already where the paint had been scraped there is signs of rust. It's very pretty but not sure how long it's going to last. I bought a cover for it so we don't have to take it apart this winter, but not sure it will still be in one piece by the end of summer.

Comments about Coral Coast Long Bay 2 Person Canopy Swing - Terra Cotta:

The swing was easy to put together and is very comfortable. It is very well constructed except for the canopy. On a windy day - the canopy can be ripped away from its frame. The nuts/bolts for the canopy are very thin and can break allowing the canopy to blow away. I would recommend taking the canopy off when it is windy and at night.

If care is taken with the canopy this is a very nice swing.

Comments about Coral Coast Long Bay 2 Person Canopy Swing - Terra Cotta:

Smaller than I thought. Two average adults barely fit. The cushions are of very cheap quality. You can feel the metal bar under your thigh. Buying better quality cushions will make this a more comfortable swing.

Comments about Coral Coast Long Bay 2 Person Canopy Swing - Terra Cotta:

It sits in the sun...or, Sat in the sun, wind rain etc. all summer on my porch and the canvas, or whatever you call the seat without the cushion, was so weathered by last spring that I sat on it and went straight through the seat and it was unusable. I want to fix it because it looks great on my porch but the seat material is in place with springs. It is not weather resistent AT ALL!!! BEWARE!! Unless it is protected from the elements it will last only one season. Too much money for just a few months. Will try to re-seat it somehow though but shouldn't have to in my mind!!
