I couldn't get the headboard to fit my queen frame correctly so it's not very sturdy because of that. Maybe there's something wrong with my frame?? Other than that, it seems to be well made, and the wrought iron attaches to the wood very easily. This is my temporary bed until I save up for something nicer. I would only recommend this bed in a guest room, not as your main master bedroom headboard.

Piece of sloppy manufacturing

The head and foot boards are made in Malaysia and the frame in China. Neither one ever spoke to the other because nothing fit. Holes all in the wrong place. One end of frame bent completly out of shape. It too 5-minutes with a 5 pound sledge to get it back in place. New holes had to be drilled in the wood posts. Finish isn't that great. Scratches and missed varnish make this a poor buy. They said I should send the parts back so they could replace them. Are you kidding? After spending an afternoon putting it together I'm not about to rip it apart and start all over again. Anyway, how do I know the new pieces would fit.

We received the Madison Bed and are thrilled with how beautiful it is however, we have a little delimia because the rails on our bed have an iron hook that slides into the leg or wood post of the headboard and the post of the madison bed is made to bolt onto the rails. Not sure if we can rig it to fit our rails, if we can't I think we will have to return it because we have a sleep number bed which is on a plateform which is connected to our rails. Really hoping we can rig it because I love the bed, it looks so clasie and is just what I wanted.

I needed a headboard in a guest bedroom; this was perfect. It gives character without being too bulky. The price was low, the quality very good and shipping was fast. It arrived in two boxes and went together easily. No problems attaching it to the existing bedframe rail. For the price, I was surprised that the posts are solid wood. The wrought iron arch looks a little like a railing but is well-made. The room now looks complete.
