Comments about Martin Universal Manchester Drafting Spilt Top Table:
Has what appears to be a great, budget-conscious design, but in the end, the holes don't line up, the drawer is crooked, and the table is not exactly stable. There isn't much one can do when the parts don't line up right and they're made of metal, or when the parts seem to be the wrong size. As for the drawer, there was no way we could make it line up level, as the piece that holds the left side of the drawer is longer than it should be; or, the rail on the right side it set too high. The drawer stopper is not well thought out either; what if there's a lot of stuff in the drawer? The drawer catch hangs down in the middle of everything, limiting the storage capacity of the drawer. (For those of you contemplating this desk, I would skip the drawer catch. It's not easy to put on, and once it's on, it's hard to remove.) The instructions are incredibly difficult to understand. Which way does the part go in relation to the others? The images are not descriptive enough for the sparse and sometimes confusing directions. This desk was also much smaller than I imagined it, but that might be my own fault if I didn't look at the dimensions closely enough. We hope to get some good use out of this thing anyway, but seeing it now, I probably would not have bought it in the store EXCEPT that it has the split-top desk, which is a nice feature.

Comments about Martin Universal Manchester Drafting Spilt Top Table:
After a somewhat grueling assembly, I was surprised at how small the finished product was. I am using it for beginner-level acrylic painting and it will work fine for me for now. This table would be ideal for an art student or for a small space.
Pros
- Attractive Design
- Good Height
- Good Surface Area
- Nice Finish
Cons
- Wobbles

Comments about Martin Universal Manchester Drafting Spilt Top Table:
Every thing was very good with the table... but the instructions could be a little clearer to those of us who don't generally put furniture together. I would suggest putting little letter tabs on the legs, right from left you know just make it as clear as possible. But otherwise after a few wrong attachments, we got it together. Thanks
