I have been wanting a platform bed for sometime. i was excited to receive my new platform bed. I experience comfort, but my husband who is bigger than I in weight, is having trouble sitting on the bed. Everytime he sits on the end of the bed, the plastic holding pieces pop out and he begins to sink in. I do not recommend this frame if you are heavy. I thiught it would have platform boards to put underneath, but it does not.

We bought this as our main bed. It took a while to get it together, but it does feel very sturdy. What we were looking for was a metal frame with no footboard--not that easy to find! There were two slight disappointments. One, in a couple of places on the headboard, the finish has small chips [...] Two, the screws that hold the headboard together are shiny bright silver, very noticeable against the brownish-brushed silver. I'm not sure why the manufacturer would do that! Even black screws would have been less noticeable. You can't tell how bright they are from the picture, but if you zoom in you can see where the screws are. I may look around and see if I can find replacements in a less jarring finish. I probably would not buy this bed if I had to do it over.[...]

This bed is awful! It looked good in the picture, but arrived with one piece dented and the paint on top of the dent chipped (I was surprised it was painted and no just metal). The plastic ends that had to be fitted into slots to attach the slats broke when pushed into the slats. The corners didn't meet the sides well and the whole thing looks like junk.

This is a nice bed, we have slept on it for 2 nights and it is comfortable. It took an hour or so to assemble (king size) but wasn't overly difficult. It is a nice design too. I really wanted another frame (wood mission style frame) but it was too wide for the space[...]This is my second purchase from Hayneedle stores and am very pleased. I will purchase from them again.
