The Martin Universal Pro-Draft Parallel Straightedge Kit with Adjustable PEB Board is perfect for eliminating the need for an acrylic straightedge or T-square. It is designed with an inking edge and ensures accuracy. It features a convenient carrying handle and dual locking knobs that allows you to align the straightedge or change the angle quickly. The ribbed strips on the back keep the Pro-Draft Parallel Straightedge Board perfectly positioned on the edge of a work surface or your lap. This two-piece kit is available in a wide variety of sizes, making it easy to find just the right size for you.
About Martin Universal Design, Inc.
Over 40 years ago, Dennis Kapp founded Martin Universal Design, Inc., which incorporated the wholesale, importing, and manufacturing of Northwest Blue Print, the company Mr. Kapp's father founded in 1946. I love this drafting table...so glad i didn't get the alvin, my neck would have become sore. With other drafting tables you are constantly hunched over your work, this one is fully adjustable. You will not find a better one. Also the wire pulley parallel bar system is amazing and made to last. It also is very easy to adjust

I got this to do general sketching, and concept work. It arrived missing pieces... a bolt, one of the rubber feet. The slide rule doesn't hold paper down... maybe it wasn't intended to, but that would've been a nice feature. I've had to re-engineer this item to not slide around and to stay in one piece. In it's original condition as it was intended it's would be a pretty good buy.

THE PARALLEL STRAIGHTEDGE ON THIS PRODUCT IS AS CHEAP AS IT GETS. IT DOESN"T SLIDE UP AND DOWN VERY EASILY AND DOESN"T STAY STRAIGHT. I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE ABOUT RETURNING IT AND THEY WON'T PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING IF I HAD JUST CHANGED MY MIND BUT THIS PRODUCT IS NOT AS ADVERTISED AND THE COMPANY SHOULD STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT.
