I like the look of the bed, however, my biggest issue is that the top of it isn't black. It is the plywood color. My mattress doesn't fit perfectly in little frame on the top, so I had to spray paint the edges black so match my black sheets.

Good value, however with no predrilled holes in the molding and cheap screws it makes assembly a pain. I had to get some better screws and drill holes in the molding to attach it properly. Instructions are a bit cryptic as well. Also don't expect to move the bed after it’s assembled as it feels like it may come apart. Once in place however, it looks good and although I wouldn't move it, it seems quite sturdy for normal use. Despite the shortcomings, for the price (especially with the free shipping promotion) it will make a decent addition to your budget-minded decor.

This is poorly made and is not easy to assemble. I finally had to buy liquid nails to get the trim on - it is impossible to even drill through. The top of the boards are unfinished and show around our full size mattress. This bed is terrible - don't waste your money or your time on it!

At first we are very skeptic on buying this bed cause it is just a platform but when we got it and assembled it, it just looked great and simple. not to flashy and it doesnt look cheap also. I believe its durable. when your buying this bed make sure that you have people to carry it when it arrives cause its really really heavy, but its worth the price and the weight.
