Benefits of Bicast (also bycast) Leather
Bicast is a split leather with a layer of polyurethane applied to the surface and embossed. This makes it much more durable, tear-resistant, and fade-resistant compared to standard leather. It is definitely leather; it's simply treated to make it stronger and easier to maintain and clean.

These chairs were bought for my client's Reception Area. They're perfect for that use. It's a risk to buy chairs on-line, but with [...], it was worth the risk. We bought one to make sure it was what we needed, then bought five more. I'd recommend that approach. I called before I ordered any of them and was told there was plenty of stock and that this chair was a standard item that was usually renewed. That allowed us to check one out without risk of them going out of stock before we ordered the rest. So, customer support was very helpful. The chairs turned out to be exactly what was represented.

These are very nice chairs. Perfect for our music room. However, be prepared to trouble-shoot attaching the legs. Appears straight-forward, i.e., screw them straight into the base of the chair. Problem is the two screws provided for each leg that stabalize it from spinning. Pre-drilled holes don't always allow the screw to "bite" into the wood they are supposed to go into. Were not able to put two into each leg without a lot of re-working the concept. Will hope that one stabalizing screw is enough to keep the leg from ever shifting

I've wanted a chair similar to this for some time, and finally got rid of my old bulky armchair that was years past its expiration. Glad I ran across this one through Google Shopping ("search: leather club chair") on hayneedle. Same chair was available elsewhere for $50+ more, without the $2.99 shipping. Leather is soft, durable and comfy. Stitching really makes this chair bolder than other leather club chairs I've seen. The pictures are 100% accurate, though check the measurements in your space, as it was still a bit smaller than I expected. Chair arrived in a large box with the chair already assembled, sans the legs. As for the legs, not quite sure what others found difficult. The screw on legs simply twist into their respective corners, via solid metal screws and guides embedded in the frame, and have two guided wood screw holes to ensure even more stability. That is the only assemble required. Took me 10m tops, though I can imagine that if you did run into a problem it might require some creativity.
Best part - chair arrived 3 days early! (Southern CA) Thanks Hayneedle! I never used you before, but you can bet I'll be back :)
