This bed was simple for my son to assemble for my granddaughter. She loves it. It is very sturdy, accept for the drawer underneath. I think it won't hold anything heavy. Overall I would recommend this bed.

I LOVE this bed. My daughter is 2 in a half years old and she was getting out of her crib. I looked online and searched and searched and finally came across this one. It was easy to assemble, it took my husband 30 to 40 minutes. It is low to the ground and has a convienant drawer for extra storage. She loves it, she jumps on it and i have even layed with her to read her bed time story.

This is a great transition bed when you are ready to do away with the crib. Our two and half year old has been jumping out of crib for about a year now, so we thought it was time to get him an easier bed to jump out of. Plus, he shares his room with his 4 yr old brother and wanted the same bed, no surprises there. The beds are great but the screws will start to come loose if too much jumping is happening. So if you have mellow kids, nothing to worry about. You will just put your screwdriver to work more... We have two of these beds now.
