Infinite recline points within the range of motion allow for precise positioning, but because the chair is designed to relieve strain on your lower spine and back, it does not recline to a fully flat position. I had a problem with both chairs purchased in January 2012 I called customer service, explained the issue and two new chairs were shipped and received two days later at no charge.
