The desk was missing a couple of parts and also had a couple of damaged parts. I contacted Customer Service @ Hayneedle and Abigail Abernathy was extremely helpful; she coordinated with the company that manufactured the desk and was successful in arranging to have the damaged/missing parts sent-out to us. We're still waiting for the parts to arrive, but that should be very soon,and we can then begin enjoying the use of the desk, which we are quite happy with.

The office came in two boxes, but once I unpacked, it was pretty easy to assemble. Make sure you have a Phillips screwdriver and a drill nearby.

This is a nice looking piece, and seems pretty good quality. Allow yourself several hours for assembly tho. I have put together similar things over the years, but this comes in two boxes and about a million pieces and just pictures for assembly (think Lego instructions) It was relatively easy but very time consuming. Overall, I am happy with the finished product. Bought it for my son's college apartment...we'll see how the finish holds up.
