Comments about Moonlight Slumber Starlight Pack n Play Crib Mattress:

The Moonlight Slumber PnP is a beautiful mattress, but I dont see how it could possibly be safe in the Pack N Play. PnPs follow the same safety guidleines as a crib (that the mattress should fit with gaps no bigger than one or two fingers width between the mattress and the side of the crib). I dont believe its a problem with the mattress itself, but the PnP has soft sides, so the thickness of the mattress creates 2 inch deep crevices on the sides of the pack and play that are definitely large enough for our 4 month old to get stuck in.

Also, there is no way that this could possibly "replace" the PnP mattress (as I was told by customer service at Hayneedle and Moonlight Slumber). The PnP mattress has a solid bottom. The Moonlight Slumber mattress would have to go on top of the PnP mattress in order for the mattress to be stable. I tried it both in the bassinet attachment for the PnP, and in the PnP without the bassinet attachment.

I absolutely love the Little Dreamer crib mattress that we have, but I dont think the Pack and Play mattress will work for us.

    Service and delivery comments:

Customer service was excellent, both by phone and email. They responded quickly and were very friendly. The product arived quicker than expected and in great condition.
