I am pretty happy with my choice...This bed was very easy to put together I had no problems with missing parts, parts not fitting properly or even stripping the wood (I have had that happen) So far so good with durablity I havent heard the wood pieces crack under me. I am a little worried about the longevity of the wood and how long will it take before I have to purchase new wood. I would have liked that piece to have been metal or something has a long usage life span or something like that.

bought this bed(full) for my daughters room, and i loved it so much that I bought a queen size for me. I put both beds together by myself in about 2 1/2 hours. I suggest u have someone help you assemble because it is heavy and awkward, and the instructions are a little confusing. overall great bed!!!

I bought this to replace my old sagging boxspring, I really like the look of it. I've used it a few nights now it's a little firmer than with the boxspring but I think some of that is due to my current mattress that I still need to replace. My dad assembled it for me but to attach the center support, he had to drill holes in the slats to attach it because there were none except on the center support itself but by doing that did we void the return policy? We went ahead and did that so it had more support that we all thought I needed. It seems sturdy so far both my dogs and me have slept on it each night and it's seems fine. It is lower to the ground than I expected looking at the picture and the dimensions listed, it isn't negative thing though.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We have a very small guest room, but I wanted a "real" bed in there, not a sofa bed or air mattress. We don't have room for a frame with a headboard, footboard and all, so this platform frame is working perfectly. We got a foam coil mattress to go on it.
