Comments about Napoleon Mirage M485RSIB Grill with Infrared Rear and Side Burner:
This is an awesome product if you are looking to step up beyond your average 'run of the mill' grill... its that next step up.
Build quality is extremely good (though a couple of pieces let the design down such as door hinges/ spacers.) When its assembled its pretty darn robust!!!
The Stainless Steel cooking grates are really heavy (I like the wave pattern!) and clean easily after cooking to ensure it keeps looking good. The grill heats up quickly and sustains an even temperature across the space... Easy to sear meat etc...the only comment would be that even on the low setting, if you have the full burner spread on, it may actually be too much heat for many gentle applications! The addition of the ceramic side/ rear burners are a really nice touch and well worth it!
I chose an extra smoker/charcoal tray and this is an nice additional feature/touch... Overall really pleased with my purchase decision and first few uses!
The only negatives are simply around practicalities... Its a very heavy grill when it arrives in the box and needs 2 people to assemble... this is not a 5 minute exercise, so don't under-estimate! It requires a couple of hours to unpack, get all the pieces laid out and assemble! Additionally I was surprised at how long ground shipping takes with such a heavy item..... again, not just a few days (more like 2 weeks!) so make sure you are not disappointed if you want/expect immediate delivery!
Also, the brake design on the wheels is substantial, but they are under the body of the grill so its very fiddly to access them to set/ release brake... would be good if they were placed more to the edge so you had easy access, onces its all assembled!
