The unique "Circle of Heat" heating element means food is cooked from the side, not the bottom, for more moist cooking results. The cool-touch handles allow you to easily transport your heated food from the heatwell to the serving space. Do not place the heatwell in the dishwasher or immerse in water. Wash the cover, cookwell, and rack in warm, sudsy water, then rinse and dry.
