I purchased this recycling bin because a family member had an older model. My new kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances which is the main reason I purchased this bin.
Pros:
- From an appearance standpoint it looks good
- A bit on the small side but works for my use
- Packaging required no assembly
Cons:
- Not nearly as durable as the previous designs
- Pedals feel like they are cheaply constructed. It wouldnt supprise me if the pedals are the first parts to break on this recycling bin.
- Pressing on the pedals causes the stainless steel to noticable flex and make noise. This is the products most significant fault
Bottom Line:
- For a recycling bin that costs >$100 I expected better. I would recommend passing on this recycling bin and spending the extra money on a Simply Human recycling bin.

Looks good but it feels more like tin than stainless. The pedal assemblies also feel like there is a lot of flex to them. Not a bad can for the money though, and I don't think dinner guests will be inspecting the can to see how thin the walls are. Two removable compartments make it easier to change bags. Bottom line is I would buy this can again as long as it stays at about half the price as the next best one.

Received bin last week, the only problem was that the liner was stuck inside the bin and husband had to really pull it out. Otherwise it's perfect.
