Just received this lamp - disappointed, it is not nearly as attractive in person as it appears on computer view. Advertised as "earth" colors and yet it has a cheap blue color dead center of each design. Cannot compare to the beautiful tiffany lamp I bought two years ago, which gets compliments with all who enter my home. I would not recommend purchase of this particular lamp - you'll be disappointed (sorry).

I purchased 5 tiffany lamps and some were over $300 each. I do love them all. However the one shown here -northlake table lamp- has what appears as several pieces of plastic in the shade. I would have purchased a different one had I know that. It was not mentioned in the description, or I just missed that part. It may have said that there were x amount of pieces of glass, but I did not realize that the amount was not the total number of pieces. I need to read more closely.
To me, the plastic pieces lessens the value, and cheapens the look of the lamp. Most of it looks good, but the plastic mixed with the glass just looks cheaper. The light comes through the plastic differently and it is pretty obvious to me. I would have rather paid more to have more real glass in the lamp, or at least plastic that did not look like plastic.
Also, some of the very small pieces looked cracked, but due to my poor eye sight, I could not tell if it was a real crack, or just some glue. This was an expensive trip to the on-line Tiffany store and although I am not disappointed, I will not suggest anyone buying that particular lamp without knowing some of the pieces were not glass. I will not I get a matching one, nor will I ship any of those as gifts. I did send one of the others to my mother in law. She was thrilled. They are all beautiful, each in their own way. Even the one displayed here is beautiful. I especially like the ones that have the bulb in the base. And the ones that make the base bulb easy on and off are very nice. Not all of them have that same switch.
