Purchased the Night & Day Solstice bed from Hayneedle a few years ago and was very pleased with the entire experience. Solstice is as solid now as the day it arrived. I was not disappointed this time around. Shopping was simple; shipment was easily trackable; and all 4 boxes arrived on time in good condition. Bed is well made and arrived with all necessary parts and easy to follow instrux. Holes all matched up and the bed was together in about an hour. Beautiful style and finish. Color is true to website images. Accommodates standard matress & box springs or foam mattress.

I bought this 30 days ago in King size cherry finish, and it has turned out to be an excellent bed. My only issue was with the instructions, which were hard to decipher, and the supplied bolts, which came in three different lengths and head sizes. Which, coupled with before mentioned instructions, caused me to have to redo the assembly a couple of times while I as putting it together. Medium overall difficulty, plan on two hours minimum for assembly...Took one star off because of the bolt/instructions fiasco, but its an excellent bed and worth the additional assembly time!

It is a decent bed. However, I had to do two small additions. Me & my husband use it as a primary bed and we are not into the box spring kinds. So we had to add a ply sheet on top of slats to hold the mattress more firmly (probably because we use the cotton mattress.. which is softer). So, if you are using regular mattresses you should be good. Also, they had not provided holes on all slats to be screwed to the side runner, however they had provided the screws.

It is easy to assemble and the quality holds up to the picture; however, this is advertised as a platform bed. It is a regular bed with extra slats. I have back issues and like to sleep on a true platform. I'm going to buy extra wood to convert it to a true platform bed.

The bed was well made and nice looking. It is easy to assemble but does take some time. The futon mattress we had fits nicely and we are happy with the purchase.
Service and delivery comments:
Make sure you are in contact with the shipper (that they have a good phone number to reach you). We had an issue with contacting each other and the shipping city was wrong on their end. But the items arrived in good shape once contact was made.
